Product Performance and Application

HT-150 reverse osmosis scale inhibitor and dispersant is a highly efficient liquid scale inhibitor used to control scaling deposits in membrane separation systems, effectively controlling calcium carbonate, calcium silicate and calcium sulfate scale, with high scale inhibition efficiency and no formation of insoluble polymers with residual organic coagulants. Prevent scaling in reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), or ultrafiltration (UF) systems without ion exchange pretreatment, increase water production and water quality, and reduce operating costs.

Product Features

(1) Can be used in combination with organic flocculants; 
(2) Can be used for the production of drinking water; 
(3) Effectively control scaling of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate and strontium sulfate, with L.S.I value up to 3.0 without scaling; 
(4) All major reverse osmosis membranes can be used; 
(5) Maintain a clean reverse osmosis membrane surface by dispersing clogging particles; 
(6) Effective in the range of feed PH 5 to 9; 
(7) It can be added directly without dilution or after dilution; 
(8) Good tolerance to oxides of aluminium and iron

Packaging

Reverse osmosis scale inhibitor and dispersant WT-150 is packed in 25L plastic drums or as per customer requirements.

Usage Method

For the best performance, HT-150 reverse osmosis scale inhibitor and dispersant should be added before static mixing or cartridge filter. The typical dosage is 2 to 6mg/L and can be diluted with RO membrane permeate or deionized water. 

Note: Both excessive and insufficient dosages can cause membrane fouling.
